While our goal is always to help our members navigate life’s bumps and get back on the right financial road, SUNY Fredonia FCU sometimes has to repossess vehicles. We sell these repossessed vehicles through a sealed bid process.

The public is eligible to submit a sealed bid for a repossessed vehicle from SUNY Fredonia FCU. The auction is not limited to only members of the SUNY FFCU.

Please set up an appointment during Credit Union business hours to view the vehicle PRIOR to placing your bid.

Sealed Bids are due by close of business on the closing date specified in the ad.
Sealed Bids should include a contact name, phone number, email address, as well as, the bid amount and the collateral type.

All bids are final and CANNOT be retracted. Your bid does not guarantee purchase of the vehicle.

If your bid is accepted, the Credit Union Manager will contact you.

Accepted bids are required to make payment within 48 hours. Certified funds and cash will be acceptable forms of payment.

If you are a current member of the Credit Union and would like to finance this potential purchase, please receive loan pre-approval before the bid deadline.

It is important that you know:

All vehicles sold on this site are repossessions.
All vehicles are sold as is.
We recommend that you have a mechanic look over the vehicle to estimate damages and necessary repairs.
In most cases, the vehicles are sold with an Affirmation of Repossession, Bill of Sale and Lien Release. This is standard procedure for New York State, but not an accepted procedure by all states. If you are purchasing from another state, check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to learn about the procedure for your state.
Sales do not include tax, title or license fees. This is the responsibility of the party with the winning bid.
All sales are final.
SUNY Fredonia FCU has no other implied or expressed liabilities.

Auction Information that you should know:

All auction vehicles have a reserve requirement.
SUNY Fredonia FCU will not be obligated to take any offers that do not meet the reserve requirement and reserves the right to exclude offers deemed questionable.
SUNY Fredonia FCU reserves the right to terminate or remove a vehicle from the auction site without notice.
All offers are subject to approval.
